The Grande Roche Hotel is a highly acclaimed destination - not just for its beautiful location on a working farm near Paarl in the heart of the Cape Winelands, but also for its luxury accommodation, gourmet cuisine, excellent service and the warmth of the hospitality.

The hotel is situated within easy reach of 12 quality golf courses with 5 - 40 minute drive - each offering the novice and pro golfer its own individual challenge - a veritable golfer's paradise!

There are many other sport and leisure activities available close to the hotel.

The Kraal Fitness Centre has a sauna, steam room, massage room with on-staff masseur, and a heated outdoor pool. There is also another pool on the patio at the manor house.

There are 2 floodlit tennis hard courts, or the hotel has a number of bicycles, including a tandem, for leisurely rides through the historic town of Paarl and surrounding countryside.

Horse riding can also be arranged to explore the beautiful Paarl Valley.

The 29 suites and 5 standard rooms all have individual decor and furnishings. The honeymoon suite has its own private patio and a sundowner terrace, and the terrace suites have private terraces with spectacular views of the vineyards and valleys surrounding the hotel.

The 5 luxury duplex suites are ideal for families, and the Junior duplex suites offer features such as thatched roofs, bamboo and yellowwood ceilings. The standard rooms are situated in the charmingly restored coach house and stables of the estate.
