GocheGanas Nature Reserve

Located a mere 29 km south east of Windhoek, and situated on a hilltop overlooking a spectacular landscape, GocheGanas offers a unique combination of wildlife, nature and wellness experiences.

With 21 different wildlife species on the 6,000 hectares at GocheGanas, game drives remain a very popular activity. Game drives are undertaken early morning and late afternoon and includes a stop halfway where guests are served snacks and drinks. The qualified guide assists with sharing information on fauna, flora and interesting bird species.

Complimenting and enhancing the lodge is the Wellness Village, which boasts a top of the range selection of wellness treatments, products and services.

Facilities include 11 treatment rooms with state of the art equipment such as a crystal bath, hydrotherapy bath, and a vichy shower, as well as a heated indoor pool, a cave sauna in a cathedral like masonry vault, and a well-equipped fitness gym. All of this makes a visit to GocheGanas Wellness Village a unique experience.

The architecture and decor of all buildings at GocheGanas incorporates local arts and crafts in celebration of the culture of Namibia.

The lodge has 16 totally private chalets under thatched roof with uninterrupted and spectacular views over the surrounding reserve.
