Rooms may normally be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival, and must be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Children of any age are welcome, but can only be accommodated in certain rooms. Rates available on request.

Other Useful Information

All rooms have expected luxuries and amenities including satellite TV and direct dial telephone. Some also feature fireplaces, under-carpet heating and air-conditioning.

For Villa Suite residents, services will include: butler service; complimentary daily high tea; complimentary internet access; a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival; fruit in the suite and complimentary wine tasting at one of the wine estates.

Dinner is available by prior arrangement - we suggest you call the day before to confirm whether you require this. The in-house Monneaux Restaurant is rated as one of South Africa's best and serves an inspired fusion of Western and Eastern influences. The Monneaux Restaurant was listed as one of the 'Top 10 Restaurants in South Africa' by Eat Out for the year 2001 and 2002. It was also voted one of the 'Top 100 Restaurants in South Africa' by Wine Magazine for 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004!

It is advisable to pre-book other dinner reservations in Franschhoek too - either Travel Butlers can arrange this for you, or else please call the hotel in advance and they will be able to make any reservations for you.
