Check-In and Check-Out Times

Rooms may be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge around this time, so you can check into your room and relax before your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive.

Rooms must please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

Twice daily open vehicle game viewing drives, accompanied by a professional field guide and tracker, spotlight game drives at night, bush walks through unspoiled African bush, learning about ecology and wildlife, accompanied by a professional field guide and tracker, all meals and a laundry facility (for stays of 2 nights or longer) are included. PLEASE NOTE: Drinks are NOT included. For self-drive visitors, the Balule conservation / entrance fee is also not included (currently R70 per vehicle but subject to change).

Children Policy

Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. Child care services are available.

Other Useful Information

All rooms have insect-proof window screens, mosquito nets, overhead fans, silent air-conditioners, mini-bar, and tea / coffee making facilities.

Satellite TV and telephone / fax facilities are available.

Major credit cards are accepted.
