Discover Mozambique

This 14 day camping tour takes in Swaziland, Mozambique, and ends with a safari in the world-famous Kruger National Park.

Leaving Johannesburg early, you travel through the Mpumalanga province to Swaziland. After crossing the border you enter Hlane Royal National Park, a huge nature reserve, home to lion, elephant and white rhino. As well as game drives, you can also hike here and to round off your Swaziland experience, enjoy a display of traditional Swazi dancing.

Cross into Mozambique, and be prepared to be captivated by the beautiful coastal scenery. Relax on the white sandy beach, or snorkel / dive in the crystal clear warm waters during your time here, and also experience a sailing trip on a dhow, the traditional sailing vessel of the African East Coast.

Visit the old Portuguese settlement of Inhambane, and see the capital city of Maputo, before returning to South Africa and heading towards the Kruger National Park, where you will spend 2 nights in this magnificent area and enjoying some of the finest African wildlife.

Informative dawn game walks and night drives (accompanied by a ranger) are offered as an optional extra.

Leaving the Kruger Park behind, you will visit Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, where animals are being re-habilitated before being released back in to the wild.

Finally, you explore the Panorama Route, stopping at Blyde River Canyon and Bourkes Luck Potholes, before returning to Johannesburg, where this tour will end.
