David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa

Situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, and just 7 km from the Victoria Falls, the David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa is an exclusive property, offering world class facilities for guests enjoyment.

Entering the lodge guests are magically transported back to the pioneering adventures of the early European explorers, where one can savour the true elegance of a bygone era.

Design and décor is quintessentially colonial varied with elements of raw stone, wood and earth, glamorized by gold, bronze, copper and ivory, all once traded on ancient Arab routes. A hint of Zanzibar décor compliments the alluring spice colours of the orient.

The David Livingstone Camelot Spa looks over the stunning panorama of the Victoria Falls, and offers a wide variety of therapeutic and beauty therapies and treatments, ranging from intensive sports therapies to mud wraps, facials and manicures. All Spa therapists are professionally trained and highly skilled in their areas of expertise and at their hands.

There is also an infinity swimming pool, which flows into the Zambezi River.

The tour desk can book a variety of trips as well, including guided trips to the Victoria Falls, bungee jumping, sky diving, white water rafting, abseiling, and elephant back safaris.

The Lady Livingstone, a 144 seater river cruiser comprising of 3 decks, enables guests to experience Africa in a unique style on the Zambezi River.

There are 77 rooms in total, all en-suite, of which 5 are suites. All rooms have a mini bar, air-conditioning, TV with satellite, and tea / coffee making facilities.

Most rooms look out over the mighty Zambezi River and a leisurely sundowner can be enjoyed from your private balcony.

Guests can dine at either Kalai Restaurant situated in the main lodge next to the reception area, the Pool Deck, the Gwembe Terrace in front of the main lodge or on the Lady Livingstone.
