Cheetah Plains

Average guest rating:4.0

Cheetah Plains is situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, world renowned for its Big 5 game viewing. There are no game fences between it and the vast ecosystem that is the Kruger National Park, where African wildlife reigns supreme and man is a temporary visitor.

The lodge offers intimacy and exclusivity accompanied by superb service and luxury accommodation, and exudes a distinct warmth and comfort, allowing one to feel right at home.

An early morning wake up call will awaken you to the magic of an African sunrise. The bushveld surrounds will also be waking up for the day, or settling down for a laze in the shade after a hard night's hunting. A tracker and qualified ranger will take you through the reserve in specially equipped game drive vehicles and do their utmost to give you the finest game viewing opportunities.

The Lodge

Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, and then enjoy a bush walk, which offers you the opportunity to take a closer look at the natural surroundings. Discover unexpected surprises like a chameleon perched on a tree branch or view the thousands of birds to be seen in the Cheetah Plains skies.

Setting out into the bushveld as the breathtaking African sun starts to set is the perfect time to spot the predators that prowl the Cheetah Plains. And stopping for a sundowner, you will have the opportunity to take in the dramatic African sunset view.
