The Garden Route
Aptly situated in an area of Knysna known as Paradise, Bradach Manor must have one of the most envied views in South Africa. The lodge looks out straight across the Knysna Lagoon and through the Heads to the Indian Ocean beyond.
From the 5 lagoon-facing rooms and the lodge's sitting room with its massive picture windows, the guest is constantly stunned by the beauty of the place. There are also 3 courtyard rooms. All the en-suite rooms have mini bars and televisions, and are decorated to a very high standard.

We felt the services of TB, and in particular Tracey, were excellent. The real high points were Isandlwana (both lodge and Rob Gerrard tour), Phinda and Bradach Manor.

Our next stay in Knysna was good at Bradach Manor, lovely position overlooking the lagoon. The staff were very friendly and polite.

Thanks for the email. I was planning on emailing you this week anyway to say thanks for everything that you organised for us. I cannot stress enough how impressed we were with each and every place we stayed and each time we moved on we thought that the next place could not possibly be better, but it always seemed to be!!
In particular, we had an absolutely fantastic time at The Constantia, very luxurious. The weather was awful on the day we arrived but Claire was just so lovely and had a bath running for us at 11.30 am with a bottle of wine at the ready!! We could not have asked for more from her and her staff. She is like a mind reader - she seemed to anticipate everything we needed before we had even thought of it ourselves!!
All of the guest houses were really lovely, and in particular the hosts at each one were so helpful to us, always wanting to suggest great restaurants and things to do in their area. Peter at Bradach Manor was great for a chat and Brenda at Oceansong in Plett was a really nice person. The Aloe Guest House in Hermanus was lovely.
And of course, Shamwari was the highlight of the trip, a really amazing place. Fantastic accommodation and our safari ranger, Vincent, was such a great guy, we had really good fun with him and the other guests we were on our drives with and we saw all of the Big 5 apart from a leopard. I was so sad to leave, really did not want to come home, which has never happened to me before on holiday!
Darren and I will certainly be recommending Travel Butlers to anyone we know who is planning on visiting SA - we cannot speak highly enough of everything you arranged for us.

Bradach Manor is a lovely house high up on the hillside overlooking the lagoon - the room was beautiful with a huge bathroom and large verandah overlooking the lagoon.

I have just returned from a fab holiday in South Africa which you helped me arranged. The accomodation was all fabulous and we had a great time.
The Bukela Lodge in Amakhala Game Reserve was amazing and we saw such fantastic wildlife. Our host Elza and her staff where wonderful attentive people, could not fault the place at all, and I will recommend it to friends. Bradach Manor in Knysna was a charming place with wonderful staff and the most amazing views over the Lagoon. The Oceana apartments where ideally placed and we had a great view of the Apostles and Table Mountain, when there was no cloud!
All in all a wonderful dream holiday and thank you for all your help.
Do Travel Butlers only specialise in Africa or do they arrange holidays worldwide? I sincerely hope to be using you again and recommending you.

We are back from South Africa and must thank you for a great choice of itinerary. The Table Mountain Lodge was very friendly, helpful and convenient, with a great breakfast ... Residence Klein Oliphants was lovely ... Dune Guest Lodge has a wonderful position on the dune, great breakfast and very helpful staff ... Shamwari was just wonderful - we saw the big 5 and wild dogs ... Bradach Manor at Knysna had lovely views and good food ... Roggelands is a great place to unwind before flying back.
