Rooms may be occupied from 3 pm on the day of arrival (last check in is 6 pm), and must please be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

For the more adventurous there are a variety of other activities in the area such as abseiling, river rafting, horse-riding, aerial cable rides, kloofing and walking trails, microliting, as well as hot air ballooning. For the avid golfer, there are 2 excellent golf courses nearby not to mention a variety of restaurants and retail shops within a 10 km radius of Blue Jay Lodge.
