Bakubung Bush Lodge

Adjacent to the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park, Bakubung Bush Lodge is situated in an ideal location from which to explore this beautiful Park, and offers comfortable accommodation in pleasant surroundings.

Pilanesberg is an attractive 50,000 hectare malaria-free area which is centred around an extinct volcano crater. Today, the Park is home to over 7,000 animals including the Big 5, giraffe, hippo, zebra, jackal, hyena and many antelope, and there are also over 350 bird species.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy a fine meal in the restaurant or relax over a light meal on the terrace overlooking the game reserve. Evening bush braais in the boma are a unique African dining experience.

Game drives go out morning and afternoon, and can be booked from the Main Reception. Other activities include: board games; table tennis and darts; outdoor chess; children's adventure playground; natural rock-hewn pool; 2 floodlit tennis courts; volleyball court and action cricket.

Each of the lodge's rooms have been decorated to reflect the mood and ambience of the bush and have the necessary amenities to ensure supreme comfort.

All rooms have satellite TV and direct dialling phones, air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, electric shaving plugs, tea / coffee making machines and a hair dryer.
