Directions

From Cape Town : Take the first ( West) entrance into Swellendam. Enter Swellendam via the main street, Voortrek Street. Drive along the main street, past all the shops for about 3 km, and you will then pass a large white church on your left-hand side.

Just past the church, the road splits. Take the left-hand fork and turn left into Human Street. This is a dead-end street. You will see the sign of Augusta de Mist at the top of this dead-end street. Turn left into the parking area.

Well signposted with the image of Augusta de Mist, the building is just visible through the trees. Following the signs brings you into the garden, where parking is secure, shaded and close to your accommodation.

From George: Take the East entrance. You enter Swellendam via the first section of the main street, Swellengrebel Street. The first building on your left is the Drosdy museum. Approximately 500m down, on your left a tea garden with the name La Belle Alliance.

Go over the small bridge, and directly after that turn right, left and right again into Human Street. These 3 turns are all within approximately 30m of each other. You will see the sign of Augusta de Mist at the top of this dead-end street. Turn left into the parking area.
