Essentially we help you set up a web page where your friends and family can see details of your planned honeymoon and have the opportunity to buy Gift Vouchers via our secure web server to help send you on a trip of a lifetime.
There is no charge for setting up a Honeymoon Gift Registry with us, and no bank or credit card charges for guest contributions that are redeemed against bookings made through Travel Butlers.

How It Works
Step 1 - Choosing your Perfect Honeymoon
Travel Butlers specialist Travel Consultants can help you design your perfect honeymoon including a wide range of romantic and exciting destinations across Southern Africa. We work with well over 1,000 properties in the region including nearly 200 safari lodges (most of which we have personally visited or stayed at), and this means that we are able to find just the right places for your honeymoon.
You can can see some examples online, however each and every honeymoon we arrange is designed to match your exact requirements - we do not offer standard packages as we believe every couple and every honeymoon are unique and you should be able to choose exactly what you want without having to compromise to fit in with a standard itinerary.
Step 2 - Setting up your Honeymoon Gift Registry
If you decide that you would like to use our Honeymoon Gift Registry service, simply let us know and we will set this up for you. You can do this at any stage in the process from the initial enquiry through to final confirmation of your route ... although, of course, you are not obliged to use this service if you book your honeymoon with us!
Once we have set up your Honeymoon Gift Registry, you will be able to log in and decide how the page looks when your friends and family go onto the site. You will be able to set your own welcome text and include a picture of yourselves on the site, as well as decide if you want to show your guests any details on the costs of your honeymoon or how much has been given so far.
Stage 3 - Friends and Family using the Gift Registry
Once your page is set up you can send details to your friends and family, and they will be able to view your honeymoon online and purchase Gift Vouchers to help send you on your dream trip to Africa.
We will send you 50 cards that you can include when sending out your wedding invitations which will also explain how your wedding guests can make a gift to you, and there is also an online guest demo, which illustrates how guests can buy a voucher online.
You will be able to see details of how your honeymoon fund is growing and read the messages sent to you by your guests via your online login.
Finally, we will send you a souvenir copy of your itinerary including all your guests comments, and this will be waiting for you at home when you return from your honeymoon.
Stage 4 - Using the Gift Vouchers to pay for your Honeymoon
The balance will be due on your accommodation bookings 6 weeks before you fly out for your honeymoon, and we will contact you at this time to confirm the value of vouchers that you have received to set against the cost of your honeymoon.
If the total of the vouchers bought for you equals the cost of your accommodation there will be nothing else for you to pay, and we will issue your vouchers and travel documents for you.
If the value of the vouchers is less than the cost of your bookings with Travel Butlers, we will calulate the outstanding balance and you will need to pay this before we can finalise everything for you and issue your vouchers and travel documents.
In the event of the total value of the vouchers being greater than the cost of your bookings with Travel Butlers, we will issue your vouchers and travel documents, and the remaining vouchers will be converted to cash and we will send this to you for you to put towards your holiday spending money for restaurants, taxis, and so on.
Service Costs
There is no charge to set up a Honeymoon Gift Registry with Travel Butlers, and there are also no credit or debit card charges for vouchers redeemed against your trip.
To cover banking and administrative costs, in the event that vouchers are redeemed as cash towards your holiday spending money, the cash value of the vouchers will be reduced by 5%.
