British Lions Tickets & Accommodation Still Available

Friday, April 24th, 2009

We have been contacted by a number of tour operators that still have test match tickets and accommodation available for the forthcoming Lions Tour to South Africa.

With the squad due to fly out in little over four weeks time, excitement is building and we do not think these late availablity tickets will  last too long.

FIFA World Cup 2010 Tickets Go On Sale Tomorrow!

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

TICKETS for the 2010 Soccer World Cup are to go on sale tomorrow (February 20) and will be accessible to both South African and international fans.

Danny Jordaan, CEO of the Local Organising Committee, says it is now obvious that there is no ‘Plan B’ for the tournament. “We will start selling tickets, and to sell seats, stadiums must be complete.” This he says is a sure indication that FIFA feels secure in holding the tournament on South African soil and that the stadiums will be completed in time for the matches to be held across the country.

The tickets will be sold through two channels, online at fifa.com and through FNB outlets across South Africa.  Tickets range in price and are priced in US dollars.

Cancellation of Nationwide Flights

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

Nationwide has confirmed this afternoon - 29 April 08 - that all flights have been cancelled until further notice. The airline is said to have grounded its flights due to cash-flow problems.

Nationwide tickets will unfortunately not be honoured by other airlines.

Anyone travelling in South Africa currently or within the next couple of days and who have flights booked on Nationwide Airlines are requested to arrive very early at all airports in order to make alternative arrangements with other airlines.

Should anyone request a refund for their Nationwide Flights, the airline has advised that paperwork will need to be completed and this will be followed up by the airline directly.
