Springbok Atlas offer a St Lucia Turtle Tour, and we are delighted to be able to book this for you.

Only 2 breeds of Maputaland turtles lay their eggs on these shores, namely the Leatherback and Loggerhead. Enjoy an evening searching for them returning to their birthplace to lay their eggs and later in the season see the hatchlings making their dash for the ocean.

The tour operates from November to February only, and is subject to availability and favourable weather conditions.

You are picked up from St Lucia at +/- 5.30 pm, and you return at +/- 11.30 pm. The tour duration is +/- 6 hours, and has English commentary.

The tour includes a night drive through the Eastern Shores Game Reserve, drive on the beach, snacks and refreshments. Bring comfortable walking shoes.

Unfortunately, children under the age of 8 years old are not allowed.
