Springbok Atlas offer a range of day tours for visitors staying in Port Elizabeth, and we are are delighted to be able to book these for you.

All tours have English commentary, and a minimum of 2 passengers is required.

A complimentary Collection Service is available from selected Summerstrand hotels, but there may be a charge for passengers to be collected from other hotels and guest houses - rates available on request. The tour duration and collection times may vary depending on the hotel collection route.

All rates quoted are valid from 1st December 2008 until 31st October 2009. Also, all the tours listed below are also available as private excursions, which can also be customised to your own specific requirements - rates available on request.

Departs daily at ± 4 pm. Tour ends at ± 8 pm.

Experience unforgettable diversity of the ‘townships’. Enjoy drinks (own account) and dinner (included) at a carefully selected ‘shebeen’ (tavern). Convivial hospitality and community atmosphere.

 


Full Day Addo Elephant Park Tour - SP2Full Day Addo Elephant Park Tour - Duration ± 8 hours - Please quote Reference SP2 - Cost R1,167 per person.

Departs daily at ± 9.30 am. Tour ends at ± 6 pm. Includes picnic lunch.

Visit Addo Elephant National Park, home to the densest elephant population in the world. Other animals include buffalo, black rhino, zebra, jackal, bushbuck, kudu, and other species of antelope.

Departs daily Summerstrand hotels October - April at ± 2 pm; May - September at ± 1 pm. Tour ends at ± 10 pm. Includes dinner.

The 6,000 hectare malaria free Pumba Private Game Reserve is home to ‘Big Five’, including rare white lion, giraffe, numerous species of antelope, and over 300 species of birds. Enjoy High Tea on arrival, game drive in an open safari vehicle with game ranger, and South African cuisine buffet dinner in an open air ‘boma’ (weather permitting).
